8th Floor, Trillium Tower, Plot 32/A, Road 45 & 46, Gulshan 2, Dhaka 1212.The colour and texture of a curtain can look quite different in person. A fabric that appears simple on screen may reveal a subtle weave, a softer finish or a different level of transparency when you hold it against the light.
At Hello Sun's Gulshan studio, you can explore available fabrics and discuss the materials, colours and curtain styles that will work with your interior.
Bring photographs of your windows or living space. They'll help our consultants understand the room's proportions, existing finishes and the kind of light control you're looking for.
Whether you're furnishing a new apartment or updating a single bedroom, our team can guide you through the choices before you commit to a fabric.
Gulshan's glazing, orientation, and interior character call for specific choices. Explore our architectural recommendations on fabric longevity, solar shielding, and recessed tracks.
Many Gulshan buildings - from the residential towers of Gulshan 1 and 2 to the larger villas on the lake roads - feature floor-to-ceiling glazing and corner windows. Standard curtain rails rarely carry enough weight or span for these openings. Hello Sun specifies ceiling-mounted tracks with adequate load ratings, hidden behind a pelmet or recessed into the ceiling where the architecture allows.
South- and west-facing apartments in Gulshan absorb intense afternoon heat from March to October. A solar sheer rated at an openness factor between 3% and 5% filters glare while keeping the room usable, and a thermal lining on the blackout layer reduces heat gain further. This combination eases the air-conditioning load without blocking the view.
Upper floors in Gulshan towers may feel private during the day but become exposed at night when interior lights are on. A quality sheer resolves this: it maintains outward views in daylight but blocks the silhouette view from outside after dark. Choosing the correct fabric openness factor is the key decision - your Hello Sun consultant can demonstrate the difference with a light-box test.
Gulshan bedrooms often have large windows and city-light spill. A triple-weave blackout fabric on a track with side channels eliminates light bleed around the edges and the thin stripe of light at the base. For motorised setups, automatic position memory means the blackout closes completely at a set time each evening.
Dhaka's humidity affects fabric longevity. Hello Sun recommends polyester-blend sheers and cotton-polyester face cloths for Gulshan interiors: they resist the moisture-related stiffening that affects pure natural fibres in uncontrolled environments, while retaining the premium drape and appearance of a natural textile.
Double-height living rooms - common in Gulshan villas and penthouses - make manual curtain operation impractical and potentially dangerous on a tall ladder. A ceiling-mounted motorised track with remote or app control removes that problem. Hello Sun installs and programs the system, including travel limits and room grouping.
Gulshan interiors range from contemporary minimalist to formal traditional. Sheers work in both registers: a plain voile suits a minimal concrete-and-oak interior; a textured linen sheer with a slight slub suits a warmer, furnished space. Your consultant brings header samples so you can see how the fabric falls at full drop before committing.
Curtains & Window Treatments
Our Gulshan studio brings together materials and window treatment options for different interiors. You can compare curtain fabrics, consider suitable blind systems and discuss upholstery fabrics with our specialists.
Daylight & texture
Curtains influence how daylight enters a room and how the interior feels throughout the day.
Explore sheer fabrics for softly filtered light, blackout curtains for bedrooms and textured materials that add depth to a living area. We also help you consider curtain headings, lining and hanging systems before making a selection.
Light control & privacy
Window blinds offer a compact approach to managing sunlight and privacy.
Explore roller blinds for a minimal appearance, Roman blinds for a softer fabric finish and zebra blinds for adjustable daylight filtering.
Our team can help you understand which system is suitable for your windows and the way you use the room.
Colour & soft furnishings
Curtains and upholstery often share the same colour palette, even when their materials differ.
Explore available upholstery fabrics and discuss your furniture requirements with our team. We can help you consider texture, colour and the relationship between soft furnishings and the wider interior.
Curtains for Gulshan Homes & Interiors
Curtains need to work with the way a room is used. In Gulshan apartments, large windows may bring welcome daylight into the living area, while nearby buildings can make privacy an important consideration.
The right combination of fabric, lining and hanging system can make a noticeable difference to the room's appearance and everyday comfort.
Our specialists provide on-site measurements, fabric drapery advice, and tailored heading recommendations across Gulshan.
Light-filtering sheer curtains can soften afternoon daylight without making the living room feel closed in. For windows that need more privacy, layered curtains allow you to adjust the coverage throughout the day.
Ripple fold and pinch pleat styles offer different finishes, depending on the architecture and furniture.
Bedrooms often need stronger control over morning light and outside visibility.
Blackout curtains can reduce incoming light, while the fabric, lining and installation arrangement determine how much light enters around the edges.
Layering blackout curtains with sheers gives you more flexibility between daytime light and evening privacy.
Full-height windows and wide balcony openings need careful measurements and an appropriate hanging system.
Our team considers the window dimensions, ceiling height, fabric weight and operating requirements before recommending a suitable arrangement.
